Romolo Calciati was a scholar of ancient numismatics, especially coinages from Sicily and Corinth. Author of important books and pubblications, as Corpus Nummorum Siculorum, which has been awarded the Prix d’Honneur by the International Association of Professional Numismatics in 1998.
Corpus Nummorum Siculorum, it’s the widest and the most complete work on Sicilian bronze coinage and with special reference to single coinages.
It’s a tool made available to scholars and collectors which allows for depth research on single coins, by means of HD images.
